Brand Identity
As a new identity for an innovative arts and cultural venue, it was imperative that the design engaged its existing audience whilst also inspiring a new one. Retaining the existing QUAD logo, an accompanying bespoke stencil typeface was created, becoming a key part of the new aesthetic to highlight core services.  ​​​​​​​

Here the design is applied across a number of different materials, depicting a range of approaches to layout, use of colour, typography and imagery. 

Applying the design 
Accompanying the identity, the creation of a set of visual identity guidelines provided the QUAD team with a toolkit to ensure best practice when applying the design. Highlighting a flexible colour palette, allowing for greater creativity and demonstrating the power of imagery to communicate its ethos, the tone of voice is friendly, informal and welcoming to a wide ranging audience.
