A festival of ideas
The creation of an identity for Nottingham Festival of Literature which included a logo complete with bespoke typography. The concept for the logo was to integrate a symbol, that as well as its literary connotations was also symbolic of speech, thought, the articulation of ideas and ultimately representative of the author’s voice. The voice would be seen to represent literature, whether it be through the written word in the form of a story, the voice of the author speaking at the festival, or a poet reciting their work.
