Royal Derby Hospital
Working with the existing space, Firecatcher were commissioned to create a scheme of enhancements to give the outdoor area a bright and vibrant new look. Inspired by the original scheme of bright shapes and the floor sun motif, a range of graphics were created with circles featuring prominently, that were applied to the glazed areas, gates and panels around the deck.
A number of panels were created in a board game style, as requested by staff, while still abstract enough in style that the aesthetic appealed to the wide age range that would use the space.
